Routes to Work
The careers programme at LAE Tottenham is a programme of focused career learning during Year 12. Students have the opportunity to choose career strands, reflecting the most common career interests.
- Engineering, manufacturing and processing
- Digital/Computing and Journalism/Publishing
- Science and Mathematics
- Academic, teaching and research
- Information Technology
- Government and public services
- Childhood development and youth work
The program is a combination of work-place visits, careers talks, work shadowing, independent research and specific projects which have been designed to help our students make informed choices about their post-18 options. This also supports them in having access to excellent careers guidance as well as allowing them to learn and experience first-hand the skills that are valued in the workplace.
