The curriculum offers only facilitating or ‘hard’ A Level courses, in order to give students the opportunity to progress to top universities. The curriculum consists of Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, English Literature, French, Further Maths, Geography, History, Maths, Physics, Politics, Psychology and Spanish. Students can also take Arabic, Italian and Turkish as well as the Core Maths qualification.
All students have the opportunity to choose four A Level subjects, with a further option of the Extended Project Qualification. The majority of students continue with four courses until the end of Year 12, then study three in Year 13. A limited number of students may drop to three qualifications earlier in Year 12 and many will continue with four subjects to the end of Year 13.
