LAET Students Selected for Royal Albert Hall Future Makers Live Round

The Royal Albert Hall Future Makers competition is one of the most competitive opportunities available to young musicians in the UK. Each year, only a small number of applicants progress to the live performance rounds, which makes selection a significant achievement for any emerging artist.
We are delighted to announce that Deiniol (Y13), Ben (Y13) and Hannah (Y12) have been selected to perform in the first live round of the competition. Later this month, they will take to the Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall to perform their own original songs in front of a live audience.
All three students are already well known within the LAET community. They have been regular performers at school events throughout their time here, contributing to concerts, recitals and a wide range of musical occasions. They have also been key performers in LAET’s own live music showcase, LAET Live, where their creativity and musicianship have become familiar highlights.
We are incredibly proud of them and wish them every success as they prepare for this exciting opportunity.
