Highgate Rock, Pop & Rap Showcase 2026

Last week, young musicians from Highgate School and the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham lit up Jacksons Lane Arts Centre with an electrifying evening of rock, pop and rap. The annual showcase, now a flagship partnership event between the two schools, brought together performers across year groups and musical styles, from soulful vocals and acoustic sets to high‑energy rap, indie bands and full‑ensemble numbers.

This year’s line-up featured standout performances from LAET students Richard, Roland, Helena, Charlie, Kate, Rhea, Bemenet, Shaun, Sam, Emmanuel L, Emmanuel A, Joanita, Olivia, Hannah, Yassin, Melba and Ben, with Eren also contributing during rehearsals. 

The showcase reflects the strength of the Highgate–LAET partnership: students collaborating across schools, learning from one another, and celebrating contemporary music in all its forms.
